Ahoj and Hallo!!!!!

I am Michaela Fitzgerald ,  Local Childcare Coordinator for Denver,Colorado. 

      I  joined the company and became one of the LCCs for CulturalCare AuPair in 2007. I myself took part in the au pair program with this particular company in 1999. I lived with a family off of a gorgeous shore in  Connecticut. It was very challenging at times and, believe me ,sometimes overwhelming,but my year with CulturalCare was one of the best memories I have ever made . Now I have many friends all over the world with whom ,after all these years, I still keep in touch .

Before I came to the US I finished Pedagogical Faculty with Master degree in Philosophy , PE and English. Before that , during my elementary and high school years, I was involved in Gymnastics and competed internationally for the Czech Republic, the country I come from. I have always loved traveling, foreign countries , meeting people, getting to know the unknown and unexpected as well as the challenge life sometimes brings .

Now my life is fully dedicated to my family , my beautiful daughter Danika , who is  three years old and my loving husband David, with whom we opened family Bakery and Café just about two weeks after Danika’s birth. My husband and I moved to Denver in 2002 from beautiful Breckenridge. We love the city and its busy social life.

I am ready to be of any assistance to you- the Family- as well as to you- the Au Pair. Based on my personal experience I believe I can be a great help to both sides in getting successfully through the year , make it fun and enjoyable experience.

Please , do not hesitate to address any concerns or positive feedback you may have with the program. Should I not be able to answer to you right away I will always seek the right solution for any situations that may occur during the program.
