  • I cant believe it but it is so… ANOTHER YEAR HAS GONE BY and we are having another CHRISTMAS PARTY .I am really sorry we had to cancel due to the snow situation but LETS TRY AGAIN:)

    Denver Groups
    December meeting details

WHEN: Dec 10rd 1 pm sharp!

WHERE: La Quinta Hotel Meeting room
    1975 S Colordo blvd , Denver, CO 80222
on the light rail route, exit colorado blvd

    COST: $5 (exact change please)

WHAT TO BRING: $5 & a wrapped gift in the amount of $15 for white elephant gift exchange (see below for details)

We will provide pastries and hot beverages. You are guaranteed to have a lot of fun with the White elephant gift exchange! Instructions for the gift exchange are on the backside of this form so please read them carefully so you know what to do.

    WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE

Please bring a wrapped gift. Cost of gift should be around $15.
How it works: Everyone brings a wrapped gift and puts them under the tree. All participants draw a number (from a hat) to determine their order. The participant with #1 unwraps any gift from the pile and then shows it to everyone. Each successive participant, in the order determined from the drawing, can either
    1) “steal” an already opened gift (if there’s one they really like) OR 2) be adventurous and go for a wrapped gift from the pile. If the participant chooses to steal, the person whose gift is stolen now repeats their turn and either 1) steals another person’s gift (they cannot immediately steal back the gift that was just stolen from them) or 2) unwraps a new gift. This cycle of stealing can sometimes continue for a long time, until a new gift is chosen, at which point the turn is passed to the participant with the next number from the drawing.

    Repeat rewards

Repeat Rewards — Families always get $250 for being a repeat family.  Families are able to maximize their repeat rewards by applying early.

For a $250 early matching discount: They must apply by the first of the month four months before the month that their au pair leaves.  For example, if an au pair is due to leave August 15 – the family must apply by the first of the month, four months earlier.  Four months before August is April, so this family would need to apply by April 1 to get the additional $250 off.

For a $100 early matching discount: If the family waits and applies after April 1 they only get $100 off as that is the next ‘tier’ ($100 off for families that have their application in by the beginning of the month 3 months before the month that their au pair leaves).  Remember – HF’s can update their application for FREE with no financial commitment until they select their au pair.

Please pay close attention to this information:

Families who need to match for April, May or June have missed all early matching discounts

Families who need to match for July - $100 off (early matching) if their application is in BY April 1

Families who need to match for August - $250 off if they apply by April 1, $100 off if they apply by May 1

Families who need to match for September - $250 off if they apply by May 1, $100 off if they apply by June 1
